Hello, NULL EDEN

The official site is live. What NULL EDEN is, where it stands today and what you will find in this journal.

A small cloaked android walks along a pale stone bridge through a vast hall of white towers and carved masks, lit by cold haze.

NULL EDEN is an atmospheric sci-fi action adventure about a city of machines that kept living after humanity disappeared. It is being built by DeadSue in Unreal Engine 5.8.

Where we are

The project is in pre-production. The design document, the art direction and the structure of the first demo chapter are in place. Everything you see on this site today is concept art made for that document. It sets mood, scale and composition, but it is not a capture from the engine.

The next technical milestone is a greybox of the opening areas: one acoustic puzzle, the camera system and a single enemy. When that build exists, its first frames will appear here, labelled as in-engine.

What this journal is for

  • art and environment breakdowns
  • notes on combat readability and acoustic puzzles
  • the first captures from the engine as they happen

Paradise was never meant to last. Let’s see what grows in its place.
